Managing Credit Cards on File
Client credit cards can be added on file:
Automatically when clients use their card to complete an online booking, Express Booking™, or Client Self Checkout.
Automatically when clients purchase a membership online.
Cards on file are available once you have signed up for payment processing.
Once a client has a card on file:
Clients can use their card on file to complete an online booking, Express Booking™, Client Self Checkout, and to make automatic membership payments.
This article covers how to view, add, change, and delete cards on file.

To view a client’s cards on file, open the client details and select the Wallet tab.
When viewing a client’s cards on file:
A green Default badge will be applied to the client’s default card on file.
A gray Online Booking badge will be applied to any card that the client has used to complete an online booking, and it will only be applied if the client verified their phone number. Cards with the Online Booking badge will be available for the client to use in online booking if they verify their phone number.

In addition to manually adding a card on file during checkout, you can also manually add a card on file from the appointment details and client details.
To add a card on file from the appointment details, select the appointment and select Add Credit Card.

To add a card on file from the client details, select the Wallet tab and select Add credit card.

To change a client’s default card on file, open the client details and select the Wallet tab.
Select Make Default from the "..." menu next to the card.

To delete a client’s card on file, open the client details and select the Wallet tab.
Select Delete from the "..." menu next to the card.
Cards on file cannot be deleted if they are being used for automatic membership payments. Learn how you can change the payment method on a client’s membership if needed.
