Adding a New Pay-In or Pay-Out to the Cash Drawer

Pay-ins allow you to add money to the cash drawer, and pay-outs allow you to take out money from the cash drawer. Pay-outs are used for daily closeouts and to pay out staff member tips in cash.

Adding a new pay-in to the cash drawer

To add money to the cash drawer, open the Cash Drawer app and select New Pay-In.

Enter the amount and an optional description. Select Save & Record to add the pay-in and update your current count.

Adding a new pay-out to the cash drawer

To take out money from the cash drawer, open the Cash Drawer app and select New Pay-Out.

You can enter either an Amount to pay out or Amount after pay-out.

• Amount to pay out: The amount you are taking out from the cash drawer.

• Amount after pay-out: The amount that is staying in the cash drawer.

Select Save & Record to add the pay-out and update your current count.
