To set up a direct connection, open the Mangomint app on your iPhone or iPad.
iPhones: Open the menu and tap Card Readers.
iPads: If your iPad is in portrait mode, open the menu and tap Card Readers. If your iPad is in landscape mode, select Card Readers from your profile menu.
The Card Readers option is available once you have signed up for payment processing.

Tap Connect a card reader.

Turn on the card reader and make sure it's charged. Place the card reader close to your iPhone or iPad and tap Continue.

If you are prompted to allow the Mangomint app to find Bluetooth devices, tap Allow. If Bluetooth is disabled, tap Settings to enable it.

Tap Continue.

The Mangomint app will search for available card readers. Once your card reader appears, tap Connect. If you see multiple card readers, select the one that matches your card reader's serial number. The serial number is printed on the back of the card reader.

If Location Services are disabled, tap Allow While Using App to enable them.

If your card reader needs a firmware update, the firmware will update automatically. Once the firmware is updated, you may be prompted to restart your card reader, which is optional. You can tap OK without restarting your card reader to go to the next screen.
If the card reader connection was successful, you will see the message below. Tap Okay. You are now ready to use your card reader to accept payments.
