How do I enable/disable taxes on products?
If you enable/disable taxes on products, the tax rate is pulled from the rate set in Business Setup > Locations.
To enable/disable taxes on products, go to the Products screen and select the product to update. Select the pencil icon.
Enable or disable the Charge tax toggle and select Save Changes.

How do I hide backbar/professional-use items during checkout?
When creating or editing a product category, the Non-retail products toggle allows you to easily track your backbar/professional-use items. If you enable the Non-retail products toggle, the products in the category will not be available during checkout, unless the staff member has the Can sell non-retail products permission enabled in Staff Member settings.
