This article explains how to require a deposit or prepayment for online booking.
You can require a full payment or a partial deposit to complete an online booking.
In order to enable the prepayment feature, you must have an active Mangomint Pay account and:
Only have a single payment account per location.
Or if you have multiple payment accounts, you need to disable "Allow multiple services" through the online booking setting.
It is important to note that prepayments are not counted as revenue and are not included in any payroll or sales reports until the service is complete and the sale is closed.
Go to: Settings (Gear Icon) > Services
Select a service and go to the Online Booking tab.
Enable the Require payment at the time of booking toggle.
Full payment - Full service price will be charged during online booking
Partial Deposit - A fixed amount or percentage of the service price will be charged during online booking
Once saved, clients will be required to enter their credit cards and pay for the service during online booking.
