If your business requires compliance with the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Mangomint team can set up your account so you can handle sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI).

To manage PHI, including creating, receiving, maintaining, and transmitting PHI, please complete the following steps before using Mangomint:
Confirm you are on an eligible Mangomint plan. HIPAA enablement is available on Mangomint’s Standard and Unlimited plans at no extra charge.
Contact Mangomint Support via email or chat. Let Mangomint Support know your business requires HIPAA compliance and request HIPAA enablement for your account.
Review and sign Mangomint’s Business Associate Agreement (BAA). The Mangomint team will provide the required BAA for you to review and sign.
Wait for confirmation from the Mangomint team. HIPAA enablement is not active until you receive confirmation from the Mangomint team.
Use Mangomint in accordance with your HIPAA compliance obligations. Your business remains responsible for managing user access, training staff, limiting PHI to appropriate fields and workflows, and following your own HIPAA policies and procedures. Mangomint Support can help with HIPAA enablement for your account, but they cannot advise you on whether HIPAA applies to your business or how to meet your legal obligations.
