How can I refund a gift card purchase?
To refund a gift card purchase, you will need to refund the payment to the client and set the gift card balance to $0.
To refund the payment to the client, locate the completed sale where the gift card was purchased. For gift cards purchased with a credit card, you will need to process a refund. For gift cards purchased with cash, check, or any other payment method, void the sale in Mangomint to void the payment.
After refunding the payment to the client, go to the Gift Cards screen and select the gift card. Select the pencil icon and set the gift card balance to $0.
Add any relevant notes and select Save Changes.
