Tracking Services Sold Outside of Mangomint

Services sold outside of Mangomint, such as through Groupon or other promotional websites, have usually already been paid for by the client. This article covers how to track and redeem these services in Mangomint.

Create a service for the promotion

To create services, you must be an Admin user, or you must have the Can manage service settings permission enabled in Staff Member settings.

To create a service for the promotion, open the Services app and add a new service category with all the services in the promotion. When creating each service, add the promotional pricing and the service duration. If needed, you can also add a pre-commission deduction under Additional options to deduct any promotional fees before calculating commission for your staff members.

After creating each service, assign the services to staff members.

Create a payment button for the promotion

To track your promotional sales, create a payment button for the promotion. To create a payment button, you must be an Admin user. Open the Settings app and go to Payments & Checkout > Advanced Settings > Custom Payment Methods. Add a payment button for the promotion, such as Groupon.

Check out the promotion

To check out the promotion, start the checkout as you normally would. On the Payments screen, use the payment button for the promotion to close the sale. If there is no balance due, learn how you can still collect a tip.

When you run payroll for your staff members, their commission will be based on the amount paid by the client minus any pre-commission deductions.
