    No, product usage details (e.g. product name or unit pricing) are not shown in online booking. Service prices shown in online booking are not affected by any product usage pricing.

    If you would like to show product usage details in online booking, you can add a description to your services that includes the product names and unit pricing.

    The Customize price display setting is also available and allows you to customize the way service prices are displayed in online booking. You can show service prices as minimum prices, or hide service prices entirely.

    Yes, with product usage, you can set a product’s price to $0 so that the service price is not affected by the number of units entered at checkout. This is helpful for businesses that do not charge clients based on the products used, but still need to track stock changes.

    Yes, you can create service-based membership plans and packages that have product usage. However, products purchased through a membership or package can only be applied toward product usage, not toward retail product sales.

    Products added to a membership plan or package can be applied toward any service that uses that product, not just the services included in the membership plan or package. Because of this, you can also create membership plans and packages that only have product usage and not services.

    No, staff members do not earn product commission for product usage. Because the product price is added to the service price at checkout, the assigned staff member will earn service commission on the service total instead of product commission.

    Inventory reports will include details about which products were used during services (i.e. Service Usage). Products used during services will be included as part of your service revenue in reports.
