Staff Member Notifications

You can receive in-app and push notifications when different events occur, such as new appointments, missed calls, and online purchases.

  • In-app notifications will notify you directly within Mangomint.

  • Push notifications will be sent from the Mangomint mobile app on your phone or tablet.

If you tap a push notification or select an in-app notification, you will go directly to that item, such as an appointment or waitlist opening.

You can update your notification preferences in the following ways:

  • On desktop, select User Profile from your profile menu. Select your Notifications tab.

  • On desktop, click the bell icon and select the settings icon.

  • On mobile, tap the Apps icon to open the main menu. Tap Profile Settings > Notifications.

You can also update another staff member’s notification preferences by opening the Staff Members app and selecting the Notifications tab for the staff member. To update another staff member’s notification preferences, you must be an Admin user, or you must have the Can manage staff members permission enabled in Staff Member settings.

The following tables outline the available notification options.

  • In-app notifications will notify you directly within Mangomint. These notifications will also remain visible after being marked as read, allowing you to see a complete history within Mangomint of all the notifications you've received.

  • Push notifications will be sent from the Mangomint mobile app on your phone or tablet. You can configure push notifications on your device to alert you with a notification sound, if needed. Learn how you can also prioritize push notifications from Mangomint so they always appear at the top of your notifications list.

Note

If you enable a push notification, the in-app notification will also be enabled by default. This ensures that even if you swipe away a push notification, you will still be able to see a complete history within Mangomint of all the notifications you’ve received. In addition, if you swipe away a push notification, the Mangomint mobile app will still display a badge until the in-app notification is marked as read.

To ensure you successfully receive push notifications from the Mangomint mobile app on your device, we recommend enabling push notifications directly through the Mangomint mobile app on your phone or tablet. This will allow your device to prompt you to allow push notifications if needed.

If you are not receiving push notifications after enabling them, try following these steps on your device:

If your iPhone or iPad has Apple Intelligence enabled, you can configure push notifications from the Mangomint mobile app to have priority over push notifications from your other apps. This will ensure push notifications from Mangomint always appear at the top of your notifications list instead of being hidden under your other push notifications.
