Sending Digital Gift Cards
Once a gift card or gift card promotion is sold in person or online, you can manually send a digital copy of the gift card to the recipient. This is helpful if a client purchased a gift card for someone else in person, as in-person sales do not automatically send the gift card to the recipient.
When sending a digital copy of a gift card, you can send it now, or schedule it to be sent on a later date. If a gift card is scheduled to be sent later, you can update or cancel the scheduled gift card if needed.
When buying a gift card online, clients can also schedule the gift card to be sent on a later date.

To send a digital copy of a gift card to the recipient, you must be an Admin user, or you must have the Can manage gift cards permission enabled in Staff Member settings.
Open the Gift Cards app and select the gift card to send. Select the three-dot menu and select Send Digital Gift Card.
Enter the recipient’s details and send or schedule the gift card. Once a gift card is sent, it cannot be scheduled to be sent again.

To update or cancel a scheduled gift card, you must be an Admin user, or you must have the Can manage gift cards permission enabled in Staff Member settings.
Open the Gift Cards app and select the scheduled gift card to update or cancel. Select the three-dot menu and select Edit / Cancel Digital Send.
Update the gift card as needed, or select Cancel scheduled delivery to cancel the gift card. When updating the gift card, you can update the information as needed, including the recipient’s email address, gift message, and scheduled send date.
