Changing a service price can affect existing appointments.

• If the existing appointment does not have a deposit, the appointment will be updated to the new service price.

• If the existing appointment has a deposit, the sale will not be updated since the sale was created when the deposit was completed.

If you enable taxes on services, the tax rate is pulled from the rate set in Apps > Settings > Business Setup > Locations.

To enable or disable tax on a service, use the Charge tax toggle.

The Requires two staff members setting is useful for services where two staff members are required for the same client, such as a mani/pedi combination service or four-hand massage therapy.

For services that require two staff members, if each staff member earns a percent commission, they will each receive commission for half of the service price. For example, if Katie and Sara perform a mani/pedi service for $80, they will each receive commission for half of the service price ($40).

• If Katie receives 30% commission, she will receive $12 (30% of $40).

• If Sara receives 20% commission, she will receive $8 (20% of $40).

If the client leaves a tip, it will be split evenly between both staff members unless a custom split is used.
