Decide on a Launch Date
We recommend that you pick a specific launch date ahead of time. This is the day when you will start to use Mangomint as your day-to-day software and turn off your old booking system, if you have one.
It is important that you are thoughtful about how to pick that day. Based on our experience here are a few things to consider:
The launch date should be far enough away so you have enough time to transfer appointments from your current booking system, if you have one.
You also want to make sure that there is enough time to set up all your staff member logins and to let your team become familiar and comfortable with the system.
If you are transferring data from an existing booking system, please keep in mind that it will take our engineers a number of days to complete the transfer.
We find that a good launch day is often the first day after a weekend or after a day that your business was closed. (If you are closed on Mondays, Tuesday would be a good launch day). If the business is open every day of the week, consider choosing a launch date on one of the slower days.
As a rule of thumb most companies pick a date somewhere between 2-4 weeks after they start their onboarding process.
