Viewing Your Paystubs and Tax Documents as a Worker

As a worker who has been paid through Mangomint, you can view and download your paystubs and year-end tax documents (W-2 or 1099-NEC) in Mangomint by selecting My Payroll from your profile menu.

• Your paystubs will be available to view and download by each pay date.

• Your year-end tax documents (W-2 or 1099-NEC) will be available to view and download by the end of January. Physical copies of these documents will also be mailed to you and should arrive by the end of January. This is helpful if you no longer have login access to Mangomint.

1099-NEC vs. 1099-K

You may receive both a 1099-NEC and a 1099-K. These forms are used for different purposes.

• Form 1099-NEC is used to report nonemployee compensation for workers such as independent contractors and freelancers. If you are an independent contractor or freelancer, you will receive a 1099-NEC from your employer.

• Form 1099-K is used to report payments and transactions completed through third-party networks. If you are an independent contractor or freelancer and you processed payments through your own payment account, you may receive a 1099-K if you received over a certain amount in payments, or if you processed more than a certain number of transactions. Depending on your selected Stripe communication preferences, you will receive your 1099-K by the end of January either via email or postal mail (not both). Your 1099-K will not be available to view or download in Mangomint.
