Automated Messages: Gift Cards

The Gift Cards automated messages are available if the Gift Cards app is enabled.

To configure your Gift Cards automated messages, open the Settings app and select Automated Messages > Gift Cards.

The When sold online or sent via email by a staff member automated messages are sent when gift cards are purchased online and when staff members send digital gift cards.

When a gift card is purchased online, you can:

  • Send an email with the receipt to the client who purchased the gift card.

  • Send an email with the gift card details to the gift card recipient.

  • Send an email with the gift card details to an internal email address. This email will also let you know if the client's billing address could not be verified, which could indicate increased fraud risk.

When a gift card is sold, you can send a digital copy of the gift card to the client as needed.
