Automated Messages: Appointment Booked
To configure your Appointment Booked automated messages and settings, open the Settings app and select Automated Messages > Appointment Booked.

When appointments are booked, you can specify whether they should be set to Unconfirmed or Confirmed.
Unconfirmed: All appointments will be automatically set to Unconfirmed. However, appointments that are booked after your appointment confirmation requests are scheduled to be sent will be automatically set to Confirmed. For example, if your confirmation requests are scheduled to go out two days before the appointment, but the appointment was only booked one day in advance, the confirmation requests will not be sent, and the appointment will be automatically set to Confirmed.
Confirmed: All appointments will be automatically set to Confirmed.

When an appointment is booked, you can send an email and text message to the client with their appointment information.
You can select the gear icon next to each message to enable or disable the Send for appointments booked by a staff member toggle. This toggle is helpful if you are transferring appointments from a previous scheduling software. For example, you can disable this toggle while you are transferring appointments and then enable it once you are done.

When an appointment is booked online, you can send an email to an internal email address. This can be helpful if you’d like to be notified of all online bookings, regardless of whether you are assigned to the appointment.

You can set up appointment confirmation requests and appointment reminders to be sent to the client before their appointment.
You can only send appointment confirmation requests if your appointments are automatically set to Unconfirmed.
You can change the timing of each message by selecting the pencil icon.
