Google and Yelp have given clients new ways to discover, compare, and review businesses. Social media has opened tremendous opportunities but also created a lot of new challenges. Retail products that were once exclusive to professionals, can now be bought directly on Amazon.
It is now more challenging than ever to grow a profitable salon or spa. People are working longer hours, and often for less money.
To overcome this, we believe that salons and spas need to have a few key ingredients:
- a consistent client experience
- a differentiated brand and high-quality marketing
- efficient management and operations
Achieving these things can be hard and when we learned that there weren't any good solutions available to help, we became convinced that there just had to be a better way.
We started Mangomint in 2016 because we wanted to create something that didn't just solve one particular problem, but would truly be helpful in achieving success.
It was important to us that our company could make a meaningful difference. We didn't want to build another tech and marketing business that ignored the people who it is supposed to help. This is why we care so much about what we're doing.
