We just released a brand new feature that lets you send mass text messages to specific clients or your entire client list. This is a great way to quickly share your seasonal specials, membership deals, and more.

Here are some fun campaigns you could send:

  • Spring specials to everyone on your list

  • 20% off discount codes to clients you haven’t seen in 60+ days

  • Exclusive product and service discounts to clients with an active membership

You can filter your client list using different criteria such as:

  • Client’s attributes (Birthday, tags, etc.)

  • Appointment history

  • Membership status

  • and much more

How to build a text campaign:

  • Open the Campaigns app. Click New Campaign > Text message.

  • Choose who to send it to—your entire list, or specific clients.

  • Create your message with text, emojis, images, and any links.

  • Send yourself a test to make sure everything looks right.

  • Schedule it for later or send it immediately.

After you send a campaign, view key campaign performance metrics like delivery rates, click-through rates, and failure rates.

To get started, visit the Learning Center for step-by-step guidance on setting up a marketing number and sending text campaigns.

This feature uses marketing credits so you can pay as you go or add a credit plan on your Subscription page. To learn more about marketing credit pricing, check out the Learning Center.

Live calls and availability for mobile

Live calls and availability for mobile

You can now see live calls and staff availability on mobile in the Mangomint app. Staff members that have permission to make and receive phone calls will now see a new Live Calls button at the top of the menu screen.

When you tap on Live Calls, you will see a list of all live phone calls. If the client on the phone has an appointment scheduled, you can easily jump to that appointment by tapping on Go to Next Appointment.

You can also see the availability status for all staff who have access to phone calls, making it easy to see who's currently available to answer.

How to get started with phone calls:

The phone calls feature is included in our Connect add-on. To get started, go to your Subscription page to upgrade your plan.

Rebook appointments in seconds 🔁

You can now quickly rebook any appointment in just a few steps. The original client, service, and customizations will be pre-filled—just select a new date and time. You can make any edits to the duplicated appointment, such as adding additional services. You’ll find the Rebook Appointment button in the sales sidebar after checkout.

You can also duplicate any appointment from the calendar by selecting Duplicate/Rebook from the "..." menu.

Additionally, all past appointments from the client timeline can be rebooked.

When rebooking an appointment, you can manually navigate the calendar to find availability, or you can use one of the quick navigation buttons in the sidebar to automatically jump forward from today's date.

These buttons can also be customized to match the rebooking frequencies most common for your business. To configure these buttons, go to Calendar & Appointments > Scheduling Options > Rebooking Quick Navigation Buttons.

Voicemails and recorded phone calls now show call sentiments 🙂

You can now view call sentiments for recorded phone calls and voicemails. A sentiment tag will now appear in the summary in your Inbox after every voicemail or recorded call. Each call is marked as positive or negative, so you can quickly see how it went at a glance.

Sentiments for voicemails will automatically appear on each new voicemail. To view call sentiments for phone calls, you must enable Automatic Call Recording. Go to Settings > Phone Numbers > Manage settings and turn on Automatic Call Recording.

How to get started with phone calls:

The phone calls feature is included in our Connect add-on, which includes phone calls, texting, and web chat for $75/month (plus $25 for each additional location). Go to your Subscription page to upgrade your plan.

Renew client memberships early 🔄

We've added an early renewal option for active client memberships.

When a client wants to use their next membership benefit before their billing date, you can now trigger a new billing cycle on the spot.

Go to any active client membership, tap the “…” menu, and select Renew Early. You'll see the amount that will be charged and the new billing date before you confirm.

Once renewed, any credits are added immediately so the client can use them right away, and their billing schedule will be adjusted based on today's date.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • For memberships on automatic payments, the card on file will be charged immediately.

  • For memberships on manual payments, the membership will be set to Manual Payment Due and an open sale will be created for you to close in the Sales app (the same way you would for a normal billing date).

Early membership renewals let you capture revenue sooner while keeping clients happy by giving them immediate access to their benefits.

Gift cards are now easier to sell 💝

We’ve made a few improvements that make gift card sales at the front desk easier and more efficient.

Sell gift card promotions in person

When selling gift cards in person, you can now choose from any of your active gift card promotions—like your Valentine’s Day deal—or add a custom gift card as usual.

When you select a gift card promotion, the gift card value and discounted price are automatically filled in. No manual math, no requiring clients to buy promotions online. Just select the promotion, take the payment, and you’re done.

Add the gift card recipient during checkout

Whether you’re selling a gift card promotion or a custom gift card in person, you can now assign the gift card recipient directly during checkout.

We’ve added an optional field during checkout so you can specify who the gift card is for. That info is saved immediately with the gift card, so there’s no need to follow up later and manually assign the gift card recipient after the sale is closed.

Together, these updates make in-person gift card sales faster and easier—perfect for managing the Valentine’s Day rush.
