Gift cards are now easier to sell 💝

We’ve made a few improvements that make gift card sales at the front desk easier and more efficient.

Sell gift card promotions in person

When selling gift cards in person, you can now choose from any of your active gift card promotions—like your Valentine’s Day deal—or add a custom gift card as usual.

When you select a gift card promotion, the gift card value and discounted price are automatically filled in. No manual math, no requiring clients to buy promotions online. Just select the promotion, take the payment, and you’re done.

Add the gift card recipient during checkout

Whether you’re selling a gift card promotion or a custom gift card in person, you can now assign the gift card recipient directly during checkout.

We’ve added an optional field during checkout so you can specify who the gift card is for. That info is saved immediately with the gift card, so there’s no need to follow up later and manually assign the gift card recipient after the sale is closed.

Together, these updates make in-person gift card sales faster and easier—perfect for managing the Valentine’s Day rush.

Automatically record and transcribe phone calls 📞

You can now automatically record phone calls and generate transcripts.

When you enable Automatic call recording, all phone calls will be recorded and a transcript will be created after each call ends.

As you play the recording, the transcript will scroll in line with the audio. You can also click on a speech bubble in the conversation and the audio will play from that point.

Automatic call recording helps you improve quality and training, resolve disputes with confidence, and keep a written record of important client details—all without taking notes during calls.

To enable call recording and transcripts, go to:

  • Settings > Phone Numbers

  • Select the phone number you’d like to enable

  • Click Manage Settings > Call Recording and Transcripts

  • Enable Automatic call recording

Rearrange gift card promotions 🔁

You can now drag and drop to reorder your gift card promotions on desktop or mobile. This will control the order in which they are displayed when selling gift cards online.

Rearrange your gift card promotions to highlight seasonal offers first, showcase best-selling deals, and boost sales for specific promotions.

To rearrange your gift card promotions, head to the Gift Cards app and go to Settings > Promotions > Reorder.

Automatically follow up with a text if you miss a call 💬

Automatically follow up with a text if you miss a call 💬

When you miss a call, you can now automatically send a text message to the caller, letting them know you’ll follow up soon—ensuring you never miss a connection.

To enable Missed Call Auto-Reply:

  • Go to Settings > Business Setup > Phone Number

  • Select Manage settings for the phone number you’d like to configure

  • Enable Missed Call Auto-Reply

  • Customize the text message

Now, when you miss a call, your custom message will automatically be sent to the caller.

Prompt your website visitors to start a web chat

You can now automatically prompt your website visitors to contact you through web chat using our new chat prompt feature.

When a website visitor stays on your website for the amount of time you select, a popup will appear above your chat icon asking them if they need any help.

This is a great way to engage the clients on your website and help them answer any questions they might have about your services, your business, and make it easy for them to book.

To use the chat prompt feature, enable it in your web chat settings, then specify the amount of time it should take before the prompt appears.

Set business hours for phone calls 🕓

You can now create a custom outside business hours voicemail greeting and automatically send calls outside your business hours straight to voicemail.

To use this feature, set your business hours and enable the Outside Business Hours Voicemail setting. This will automatically route your calls to voicemail and switch your voicemail greeting for you as needed.

This feature is available to all Connect customers using phone calls.
