# Rebook an Appointment

Appointments can be rebooked (duplicated) in the following ways:

- **Rebook directly after checkout:&#x20;**&#x57;hen an appointment is checked out, you can rebook it directly after checkout.

- **Rebook from the calendar:&#x20;**&#x52;ebook appointments as needed from the calendar.

- **Rebook from the client timeline:&#x20;**&#x52;ebook appointments as needed from the client timeline.

When an appointment is rebooked, the same client and service will be used. You can update any of the appointment details as needed before rebooking the appointment.

**Note:&#xA0;**

You can rebook an appointment multiple times for different dates, which is helpful for clients who would like to rebook their next few visits. If the client would like to visit regularly on a set schedule (e.g. once every 2 weeks), you can create a [repeating appointment](/learn/repeating-appointments/) instead.

To rebook an appointment, begin the rebooking process from a completed checkout, the calendar, or client timeline, as shown below.

**Note:&#xA0;**

If you navigated away from the appointment after completing the checkout, the **Rebook Appointment** button will no longer be visible. Instead, you can rebook the appointment from the calendar or client timeline.

**Note:&#xA0;**

Only **past** appointments can be rebooked from the client timeline.

Once you have started the rebooking process using one of the options shown above, select a date for the appointment. You can select a date manually on the calendar, or you can select one of the **quick navigation buttons** to automatically jump ahead a certain number of weeks. Learn how you can also [add or remove quick navigation buttons](/learn/scheduling-options/) if needed.

**Note:&#xA0;**

The quick navigation buttons may vary slightly depending on whether you are in the **Day** view or **Week** view on the calendar, and whether you are rebooking an appointment from this week or a previous week. For example, if you are rebooking an appointment from a previous week in the **Week** view, you will see navigation buttons for **This week** and **Next week**.

Once you have selected a date, click anywhere on the calendar to open the appointment details. Update any of the appointment details as needed before rebooking the appointment.

Select **Book Appointment** to book the appointment.
