# Manually Sync Payroll Data with QuickBooks

After [setting up the QuickBooks payroll sync](/learn/setting-up-the-quickbooks-payroll-sync/), you will need to manually sync payroll runs and payroll adjustments with QuickBooks if you selected the **Manually sync** option.

To manually sync payroll runs and payroll adjustments with QuickBooks, open the **Settings** app and go to **Business Setup > Payroll > Advanced configuration**. If you have multiple payroll accounts, select **Manage account > Advanced configuration**.

Select **Review** under **Accounting export**.

Select the **Transactions** tab. Select the checkbox next to each item that is ready to be manually synced and select **Sync to QuickBooks Online**. The selected items will be manually synced with QuickBooks.

In QuickBooks, you can view synced payroll data in your standard **Journal** report. Make sure to filter the report to include the pay date you’d like to view.
