# Custom Fees

Custom fees are charges added at checkout based on different criteria, such as which payment method the client is using.

You can create custom fees for:

- **Convenience fees: **Add a convenience fee to the checkout if the client uses a specific payment method.

- **Eco fees: **Add an eco fee to the checkout to cover sustainability efforts.

- **Sanitation fees: **Add a sanitation fee to service sales for sanitation costs.
