# FAQ: Phone Calls & Texting

  ###### How do I see which staff members are currently available to make and receive calls?

  After enabling staff members for phone calls, you can [see a list of staff members who are currently available to make and receive calls](/learn/enabling-staff-members-for-phone-calls/#viewing-live-calls-available-staff-members).

  ###### Is there a way to see which staff members are on a call and which client they are speaking with?

  When a phone call is made or received in Mangomint, Admin users and staff members who have the [Can make and receive calls](/learn/staff-member-permissions/) permission enabled can [view details about the live call](/learn/enabling-staff-members-for-phone-calls/#viewing-live-calls-available-staff-members), including the client's name and which staff member they are speaking with.

  ###### Can multiple staff members be on calls at the same time?

  Yes, multiple staff members can be on calls at the same time. If one staff member is on a call, other staff members' phones can still ring if another call is [received](/learn/receiving-phone-calls/).

  ###### Can I make and receive calls using an iPad or tablet?

  Calls **cannot** be made or received using an iPad or tablet. Calls can only be made and received using the Mangomint mobile app on a phone.

  ###### Can I block phone numbers from calling and texting me?

  Admin users can block phone numbers, which can be helpful for phone numbers that are spam calling you or sending you spam text messages.

  To block a phone number, select **Block phone number** from the "..." menu when viewing the conversation. This will block the phone number from calling and texting you. However, this will not prevent calling or texting that number from Mangomint.

  ###### Can I forward or transfer calls to another line, phone number, or staff member?

  Calls **cannot** be forwarded or transferred to another line, phone number, or staff member.

  ###### Is there a limit to how many text messages I can send?

  With the [Connect add-on](/learn/updating-your-mangomint-subscription/), you can send **unlimited text messages** to clients. If your subscription does not include the add-on, you can still send up to 5 free text messages per month. Your 5 free messages are reset 30 days after you send your first free message.

  ###### Can I set up an automatic reply for text messages?

  Yes, you can [set up an automatic reply for text messages](/learn/advanced-settings-automated-messages/). Clients will receive this automatic reply if they text you or if they respond to one of your automated texts, including flow text messages sent from your [marketing phone number](/learn/adding-phone-numbers/).
