This article explains how to to redeem a gift card during the checkout process.

Start a checkout from an appointment or from the Sales screen.
On the Checkout Payment screen, select Gift card.
If there is a gift card associated with the client, it will show up on the next screen.
Alternatively, you can also search for the gift card by typing or scanning the gift card number.
Select Pay on the next screen.
If there is still a balance due, select the other method of payment to complete the checkout.
